- Oliver Gildart targeting Cup Final appearance
- Warriors centre looking to make up for last years semi final loss
- 20-year old wants to emulate his dad’s cup success
Warriors centre Oliver Gildart is hoping Warriors can use last Friday’s win over Leeds as a springboard to Wembley.
The 20 year old centre, who scored two tries against the Rhinos, is hoping to finally get to Wembley so he can emulate his dad Ian, and complete his set of domestic winner’s medals.
Speaking to Wigan Today, Gildart said,
“We can build on that [win over Leeds].
“Going to Wembley is something I’ve always dreamed of doing and I got cut short last year by one game so I’m really looking forward to Sunday.
“I managed to get a Grand Final and a World Club Challenge so the only one for me now is Wembley.
“It’s a bit close to home as my dad’s been there and done it.”
