Wigan fans set to travel in great numbers to Magic 2017
Latest figures show Warriors have sold more tickets than any other club so far
- Fans urged to purchase through the club for discounts with club keeping all revenue from tickets sold
Wigan are set to be roared on by a huge following at the 2017 Dacia Magic Weekend with a large number of Wigan fans having already bought tickets for the showpiece weekend.
All 12 Super League Clubs will travel to the North East as Newcastle hosts the Magic Weekend again and the latest figures show that Wigan have sold more tickets than any other club.
Of the 12 clubs Wigan have sold the most tickets for the weekend to date, 10% more than the second best supported Club in Hull FC.
Huge numbers of fans have also purchased from the Warriors with all ticket sales via the Warriors kept within the Club. The Warriors face Warrington in a repeat of the 2016 Grand Final at St James’ Park on Saturday 20th May.
Warriors Marketing Director, Simon Collinson, said: “The Wigan fans always turn out in force for the boys at Magic Weekend and this year looks set to be no different.
“Magic is a great weekend to showcase our great sport and to enjoy a weekend of scintillating Super League action.
“Sales at Wigan are at record levels for this stage. All revenue made from ticket sales of Magic Tickets stay within the Clubs too so it’s great that so many fans are coming to us to purchase their tickets.”
Many good tickets remain available from the Warriors with discounts of 50% for Season Ticket Holders and 25% for members available.
Reserved tickets bought from the Club (daily and weekend) are in blocks LL2D and L1C.
Coach Travel for the Saturday is also available costing £16.50 for ST Holders, members and concessions or £17.50 for adult (non-ST holders or members), departing the DW Stadium at 9:00am and the Old Gas Showrooms at 9:15am.
