Junior Rugby League fans in Cumbria were treated to a coaching session with the Warriors last week when the Club’s Community Foundation visited Millom.
Over 50 children, aged between five and 14, spent a day working with four coaches from the Club’s Community Foundation.
The Warriors’ expert coaches worked with the children on the basic of Rugby League, including grip, passing and catching, as well as setting them some more acrobatic exercises.
Warriors Community Development Officer, Thomas Schmechel, said: “It was fantastic to see so many young people at our camp at Millom Recreation Centre wearing Wigan Warriors shirts and having lots of fun playing Rugby League.
“The effort, behaviour and skill on show from everyone was brilliant and we are really looking forward to coming back in April for the next coaching session.”
