Wigan Warriors Under-16s lost for the first time in two years as they went down to defeat at Warrington.

The Warriors Under-16s went through 2016 unbeaten and had made a strong start to 2017.

Having drawn their last game against Leeds, Shane Eccles’ side came up against a strong Wire side who led 10-8 at the break before going on to score a further 16 points with Wigan only able to muster one more try.

Jack Kennedy scored twice for the Warriors with Tom O’Loughlin also crossing.
