Wigan Warriors Under-16s ran out convincing winners with a 12-try demolition of St Helens.

Jack Kennedy crossed for four tries with two in the first half alongside a double from Reece Hamlett and single efforts from Oliver Waite, Max Roberts and Ben Holcroft meaning Wigan led 36-0 at the interval.

Kennedy crossed again at the start of the second-half to complete his hat-trick before Amir Borouh added another.

St Helens captain Josh Simm scored his side’s only try of the game in the 52nd minute and added the conversion but Wigan soon responded with Kennedy adding his fourth before a double from Umyla Hanley late on sealed a fine win.

Kennedy added seven goals from a possible 12 to finish with a personal points haul of 30!
